After retiring two years ago Ciarán McAlinden turned to writing short stories. He has two unpublished collections Spadetown Stories and Traveller’s Tales. A regular performer at Tenx9 he has also founded First Drams to support emerging writers and is currently writing his debut novel a supernatural thriller, The Mirror Man.
