The Submission Fetish — Sigil of the Unhoused Word, Opus I, MMXXVI

The Submission Fetish — Sigil of the Unhoused Word A mythic vector sigil translating intake, systemic containment, and sacred transmission through Solomonic geometry, celestial vectors, and alchemical alignment. This is the press's own plate — Opus I, struck for the first issue of The Submission Fetish, in the teal and gold of an engraving rather than the void black of the other objects. It is a call, but it is drawn the way a factory schematic is drawn: with the machinery visible, labelled, and running.

Read it as a diagram and it tells you exactly what the magazine does with what you send. Read it as a sigil and it tells you the same thing in a register that will not argue back. Both readings are correct, which is the point of putting a coordinate line — 42°17'27"N 85°35'55"W, Kalamazoo — at the foot of something that also claims an aether transmission at one hundred percent.

What the plate contains

Why it belongs here

The astonishing objects are the calls this press has issued and the evidence its machinery leaves behind. Most of them are one or the other. This plate is both at once — it invites the submission and, in the same frame, shows you the apparatus that will process it, down to the number of streams. That is the press's whole disposition toward the people who send it work: the machine is strange, but it is not hidden.

The same apparatus is drawn without the incantation at the Field Diagram, and written out in prose at The Audit. This is that machine as a broadside — the version you could nail to a door.

Kindred objects

The Call of Issue Two The next issue's call, ringed in its own terms. Priority to work received by 15 October 2026. The Sigil of the Mythic Scribe The yantra of the transcribing hand, and its own open call: work that was taken down rather than composed. The Field Diagram The same machinery drawn as instrumentation rather than incantation. The Archive Where the streams come out: the record, the readings, and the four rungs of retention.
