This log is not written by hand. It is drawn straight from the site's own history — the same source that stamps every page with its last-modified date. To add an entry, you change a page. The record follows.
One thing it holds back. Where a commit named a writer whose work was withdrawn before publication, the entry says what the commit did and not whom it named, and the withdrawn piece is not listed among the pages it touched. The history itself is unedited: this is a rule about what is published, which is the only part of it the press controls.
